Another semester draws to a close in this academic year. Although we continue to be cautious, an aura of positivity has set us free from the fear of the unknown. The festive season will be upon us in a few weeks, and we trust that it will restore the spirit of joy and faith.

A lot has happened in the past year and a half. While we can look back with satisfaction at how we have taken everything in our stride, many lives and livelihoods have been devastated. Empathy is hard to practise, yet it is that elusive quality that we must build to offer help to others not so fortunate as we are.

Our activities and efforts may be routine during a semester. Be that as it may, we offer our thanks to colleagues, administrative staff and others who make it happen like clockwork. It takes much coordination and an unwavering spirit of responsibility to keep the system firing on all cylinders.

With the status of an off-campus centre of IFHE, we make a beginning that marks a new chapter in the history of this institution. We look forward to continued growth and steady improvement to claim our place in society.

This issue is an attempt, as always, to bring a variety of content to educate, entertain, inspire, and inform our savvy readers. We urge you to experience it in your leisure.
